IDRT has particular expertise in the development of American Sign Language (ASL)-accessible software and other assistive technologies that benefit the deaf and individuals with hearing disabilities on speech recognition, telecommunications, and closed captioned television, and in accommodations for ADA compliance. They have developed over 70 software products for the benefit of deaf people and others with communication challenges and have begun to enter the global marketplace with multiple languages.
